Good Day my friends and Welcome to week #23 of an Image a Day !

I'm glad to see everyone has arrived to a more Spring like weather pattern !   Nicer weather brings out wonderful photo opportunities for the taken, even in the rain I was able to shoot from my covered porch towards one of my birdfeeders. This handsome Goldfinch doesn't seem to mind the rain at all.

Great Goldfinch, Kevin.  How much time do you spend on your porch for each picture you get?  Your great with birds!

Lisa, great yellow thingy!  Actually, it is a quite cute yellow thingy!

The Columbine I planted last year came up and looks great....

      Waves Hi to Muriel !!

Lisa, your "yellow thingie"  makes me smile   Not a bad way to start off a Monday.

Carolyn, those Columbine you planted are beautiful, I LOVE the color, nice macro too!!
I have three birdfeeders around the house, two at both doors of the house, so I'm always lugging camera gear in and out and sometimes their just there waiting for me, and one outside my kitchen window. Sometimes I shoot right through the glass... pass the windex please

I'm back with my yellow!  I plan to shoot a lot of old boats this summer while in my travels.  I snapped this one on Saturday at a marina in Duluth.  I guess it would make a nice lawn ornament but it sure doesn't look sea worthy anymore!

Very interesting image, Sam.  I like the way the wall is split into thirds and topped with that happy, blue sky!  Nice contrast.

Love the yellow in that boat (tug boat?) I like the colors....lawn ornament?  Kinda big isn't it??

Carolyn

Thanks Lisa and Carolyn!  Cute little thing isn't it!  Yes a bit large for a lawn ornament but if it was mine I would hate to send it to a scrapyard!  There ws an auction and I probably could have gotten it for a couple of dolalrs but then paid a fortune to move it home!  I have a big enough yard for a tug boat, lol...

I really like the play of light and shadow sam !

Steph, the tug would make a great lawn ornament, or better yet, you could fix her up and rent her out to campers on the weekends   I would love to rent it out over a weekend!!

Took this with the new G9 while walking the dog yesterday, the term "Point and Shoot" in reality.

Beautiful leaves Kevin & Lisa!  Kevin I love the texture in yours, like I can just feel them looking at your photo!  Lisa that looks like a very beautiful and calming place.

I have some leaves too, lots of them!  Duluth is finally green!  whew!  Kevin, you are correct when you said that it looks beautiful here.  It is, and that's why we put up with the weather.  Just when you think you can't take another second of it, well....

I did see some snow from the bottom of the ski hill.  When I was up at the top though, all I saw was green, plenty green!  I didn't feel to hike down the slope just to see snow, I will be seeing plenty in about 4 or 5 months!

Great image, Kevin.  I like that new camera of yours..

Beautiful lane of trees, Lisa.  I have been wanting to get a good picture of a lane of trees and just can't find one.  This is awfully good.

Love the perspective, Steph and the green color captures Spring.

I was going to do another flower, but saw this fern (was going to do it for the fern show, but was too late)
