I have had 1 male buyer, the majority of my art definitely appeals to female as opposed to male.
What do men want?? as far as fantasy art is concerned, any suggestions would be great.

I have created a survey through SurveyMonkey and would appreciate any MEN to complete to help.

If you can ask any other of the male species if they wouldn't mind filling it out i would really appreciate it.

Thankyou

Well, think about it from your own perspective as a woman. What appeals best to you about your art, and do you think that is broadly shared among men? I will say that although my husband views Faeries as cute, he's definitely crazy for them and I don't know of many men who are. You seem to have a great deal of more "sensual" art in your portfolio, which I would think would appeal to male collectors.

Are you specifically looking for more male buyers? One way to look at this is you appeal to women above all--you could always play into that. The main thing is to keep growing your portfolio and skill level, and in time the characteristics will sort out. I am surprised by buyers all the time. :)

I wish I could help you - Roy says he would never be interested in a pixie, fairy or any other fantasy creature art (he is 60 though so maybe it is not your demographic )

As a man, I have really no insight to offer. I don't think the things that appeal to me would apply to the audience you're seeking.

Yeah, it's exactly like that. Only completely different.
I've enjoyed just about as much of this as I can stand.

When I think of Men + Fantasy Art I think of Teenage boys and the artist Boris Vallejo. That's what my guy friends were into and some of them still today (in there 30's now).

I have a nephew that's into dragons & wizards...not so much fairies...he's 40 now though and don't know if he's outgrown it or not.

Obviously I can't speak from a man's point of view, but my thought is that a man would feel quite a lot pressure from both his wife and from his male friends to not display scantily clothed fairies or warrior maidens in his home or office.  So while a man might enjoy looking at them online, he would hesitate buying them.

Now don't get me wrong... I know many guys into fantasy... but they prefer vulgar images, things relate to Star Trek, Star Wars and those lines of fantasy!

Create a princess laya related fairy mostly nude and I bet you will get more clicks from men!

Outside that, anything soft and sweet will attract women and a young girls!

IMO
