i thought you could use img tags in replies on wordpress, but it's not letting me do that nor paste an image into the reply field. unless someone knows a work around for this, we recommend linking to the jpeg itself (hosted here or elsewhere) or a personal blog post about your entry. just make sure if it's the later, that the entry is about that one image since there's a one image per person limit for the challenge (ie, we want to see your money shot for the day!)

Any way at all of fixing that Amie? It would look so much better if the shots were actually being seen. Could you guys go in and actually edit them to show the photos instead of a link?

I wish I had known about this 2 weeks ago... out entire county is vote by mail so there are NO polling places... and I mailed mine in 2 weeks ago. I could have been really creative and take a picture of the mail in ballot, but didn't think about future photo contest opportunities.
drat!

Can I take a picture of my mailbox with the flag up?

you can indeed! I know a lot of areas are mail-in votes only as well as have early voting. also, if you'll be watching the returns come in, you can document that, too!

nope, won't even let me turn them into images. wish i would have known that before sending out an invitation to 16K+ people via email to do this, lol!

one way or another, we'll make sure the photos are displayed on the blog.

Oh, they let me edit comments, but even when i used their own tools to put in image tags, it still won't display images in the comments. i don't get it.

Oh Drat, no way to get a phot uploaded in time (no internet at home, no cd/disk drive on the putter at work)....

Can't wait for the next contest. Hopefully have more time to prepare

Can we post after-elections shots today (Nov. 5). Didn't know if this challenge stopped and was just good for Nov. 4. The celebrations etc. went on all last night so that would be on Nov. 5.

Couldn't manage pictures... we weren't allowed cameras from what I read on the building. I brought my camera, but didn't want to chance it.

Almost--flickr won't let you post an image without using their special code that links back to their site (understandably) so here's what i need you to do. Go to that image, go to the "all sizes" tab on top of that item, then click on the medium one. It will give you two pieces of code beneath the picture. We want the shorter of the two that is just the static url.
