A clever

way to steal your original designs without violating copyright law. 'Cause you know....there are so many glass hobbyists in China just dying to craft just one of your designs. For a gift or something....

Dear artists,
We are the Glass Art Committee,China Craft Council. We have been published the magazine of 《Art of Glass》 for six years and also have the only glass bookstore in China, of which material now enclosing here for your reference.
Our magazine mainly published the glass artists' works, introducing the international glass artists for Chinese reader. Our reader mostly are the professor, the student of China art university, the domestic glass artist, the commercial present company and the domestic glass art practitioner. We have saw your work from website,which are exquisite and attractive. Therefore, we want to make a special subject about you, your works could free published in《Glass Art》.
If convenient,Kindly send us your work's picture formed in CD or DVD (each work picture better more than 20MB), together with description of your works, your glass life and the publication. we have set up the only glass bookstore in Chineseand could help you to sell your works and publication in our market.

It so sad that there are so many corupt scammers from China

During the Olympics, Beijing hosted the first international "Beijing Arts Festival", a legitimit art festival that had some wonderful artists from China and around the world, and I'm sure they probbably had difficulty getting foreign artists to display due to the counterfit problems in that country.

Even here on EBSQ, we have Su DOng, an excelent abrsrtact artist from China (Beijing), I think it would be interesting to have an interview with him aabout the difficulties of being an artist in a country where art fraud is so rampant, and how it affects his international sales. Is he faced with constant accusations because of where he is from? How does that inspire his work?

China needs to develope better copywrite laws to participate in the global economy, not just for foreign affairs, but also to protect the real artists in their own country.
