I learned a new technique from Advanced Photoshop magazine and have been fiddling around with it.  It is derived from a single picture...in my case a flower...surprised?!! (you can see the basic flower along the bottom)

It is just a doodle, nothing all that great about it, but wanted to share with you what I have been doing.

Lovely!  Looking at it from a different perspective it looks like a hat I would wear to the theater or something.

This one has a whole different feel to it - seems to me it belongs in a nebula or something exquisite like that.  Love the sensuous flowing lines.

Actually it is not that difficult a technique.  Get the most recent Advanced Photoshop magazine and look up the tutorial.  What the guy does is totally amazing, mine are a mere doodle compared to his....but I am learning by lots of experimentation.  Try it!!

It is Advanced Photoshop, I got it at Barnes and Noble, but have also seen it at Borders. It is just about my favorite photoshop magazine.  I love some of the ideas in it and the tutorials are easy to follow. I would subscribe, but it costs a fortune (out of England and all that).  But, someday maybe I will discover the money and give a subscription a go.
