I know some of us 'NEED' to shop around for better prices, and some don't ship to where we live.... choices are nice!

How many members do we have that could potentially order supplies from Dick Blick, anyway?

....I do a *lot* of bidness with them.........maybe if I wrote an email saying 'pretty please sponsor ebsq so more of us will buy your shit' they won't throw it away immediately....

I shop misterart and jerry's the most myself... but jerry's is right down the road and i get 20% purchase coupons every month at home. Use my discounts to the max I do! LOL

Their prices are pretty good for bulk canvas and free ship on orders over $200.00

I`ve never used them so I don`t know the quality.

Don't forget that digital artists need suppliers too!

I found this company "VIO" who takes care of a lot of a lot of graphic artist's needs from software, to paper, to print and even training!

I haven't checked all the ones you posted but does anyone know any good Canadian companies besides Curry's? Yes Kelly, Curry's is good and it's too bad they don't ship to the US but you have some really good ones in the US too and with the exchange rate and customs etc....too expensive for us Canucks...

Hey..not sure if it's okay to do or not..but if it worked out that it wasn't much more expensive. could always have it shipped to me and forwarded????

Stupid question: any of you use any of these companies and get whole sale prices for federal Tax ID business ? For example my husband has a legit buisness in paint contracting for comercial businesses...he gets paint and wall paper for his jobs cheaper than a retail customer does because of the larhe amounts that he buys and fed Tax ID etc.... anthing like that for artists?

You can apply for a federal tax ID number and the online companies would probably want a copy of the certificate or for you to fill out a form in order to take advantage of it.

I ordered canvas from Jerry's today and will give you a lowdown on how it turns out.

Just ordered some Golden acrylics from www.rexart.com - competitive prices & free shipping on purchase over $100 (most are over $200). They also have fine customer service.

I've been ordering canvas from www.frenchcanvas.com and I love them. The quality is superior! You can get the 3/4", 1-1/2" or 1-3/4" in a boatload of sizes AND they will custom make them for you. Rob is awesome and if you can find better bulk prices, please let me know.
