Here's one i was playing around with a old painting of mine,i did this and the other by playing with color curves.

Thanks,its just under Color,and its curves,i just move it around until i like the way it looks.

Nice effect. So Gimp has a Color Curves? Just for color? That is interesting. I really like the colors, they work well together. Was the texture something you did, or from the original painting??.......Gimp looks like it gives you a lot of nice effects. More!!

I did a couple of textures,i did canvas then i think sm.waves.i should mark things down.
One thing,Kodak blocks it for some reason,i can't get in to most of my pictures.only old things.
I want to figiure out how to distort the image too.

That is nice. I like the idea of using two textures on an image. I hope you can figure out how to get more pictures. It seems you're on a roll with Gimp, nothing should slow you down!!
