Finished this one up a week ago or so, and forgot to post it until I painted the sides last night. Actually, it's one I started way back in March this year when I took a palette knife workshop, and as so often happens when I do a workshop, I paint much more slowly in the class, and never finish what I start. It's been sitting in my garage and bothering my husband for months now, he wanted it to hang in his office. So, I finished it up and have been waiting on it to dry. I enjoyed doing the palette knife with oils, though it's a challenge. I also used a new medium on this one and really like it, the Sennelier Flow and Dry medium. Similar to the Liquin I almost always use, but, this dries to a glossier finish, giving this an almost enamel look. I like that. Though it doesn't dry them as quickly as Liquin, but that's ok for some works. "2 Apples" 11x14 oils Thumbnail Image
