I grew up with Nature all around me. I live in a breath taking little Valley ~ surrounded by mountains, trees and water. I ran barefoot and rode my horses bareback in the river when I was young. I wrote poetry and sketched in the swamp behind my home. I hid in the hayloft from everyone while my imagination carried me away...I was born with an Artist's spirit ~ and my humble earthy surroundings carried me on its wings to places no one will ever fully know....yet perhaps you can see a glimpse of that world when you experience my work.

Art to me is the collaboration of the Artwork, the Artist and the Viewer. The message and composition are not intentional and lies within the unconscious. The viewers’ perception and emotions are subjective. The works will have an individual meaning within their own relevant framing.

I am experimenting using oils and acrylics. These works are inspired by the Rorschach inkblot test ( individual interpretation) , playing with colours, a unique application technique and an artist’s eye and spirit.

My work is a reflection of every moment ~every experience ~ rooted in nature. The significance of the butterfly to me… is the manifestation ~ a true metamorphosis and metaphor of struggle and beauty...

Men travel the world and seek to capture the rarest of all forms of beauty...Some hold out their hands in anticipation to capture and experience its essence.
