This is the ACEO representing spring in the Four Seasons Series. The ACEO is a window, looking outside from within, upon a tree that is unfolding its new green leaves. If you look closely, you can see a nest with three little eggs in it. The scene is painted on opalescent glass, a grey for the rainy spring sky. The clear glass is antique barn glass.
