This set of paintings (Breasts: Haiku Series) was created in a similar way to Breasts: The Mood Series.....using my breasts as paint brushes. I started out this time wanting to do a black and white series with no color at all, but a tube of red paint kept calling to me. I always love red, but there is a particular hue of red that I consider to be the ultimate perfect color. I could lose myself in this red! You'll probably notice that this series actually starts out black and white, but the red begins to take over. I couldn't resist, I had to use the red.

I called this Haiku Series because in the way that Haiku poetry has only three lines, these paintings, for the most part , have only three colors. I felt that Haiku was a good metaphor for this series.

This is painting #8 in a series of 12.
