This Week's Theme:   Ferris Wheels

Since 1893 when George Ferris designed and built the first Ferris wheel, they have captivated us. They are the icons of fairs, carnivals and amusement parks. Ferris Wheels are landmarks and tourist attractions. There are big ones and small ones and some even have multiple wheels. Whether you call them Ferris Wheels or Giant Wheels or Observation Wheels, you are probably no more than a day's drive from one for these wondrous wheels can be found the world over and in cities large and small.
