Art of the Day: 02/25/2008
This Week's Theme:   Barns

These buildings once dotted the countryside fulfilling the duties of sheltering livestock, storing hay or grain and housing farm equipment. While there are still barns in service on the farm and some have been repurposed as homes or businesses, many are no longer used and have fallen into disrepair. Whether still in use or abandoned, barns are things of beauty and speak of a life that is more and more a part of the past.
