I use music to shape my mood when painting. The cooler temps of fall accompanied by a cup of hot coffee, warm fuzzy sweaters, a little Mozart and some Celtic harp and the happy simplicity of tole begins to flow. Call it old fashioned, but it makes this grumpy old artist smile. Two coats of acrylic paint have been applied to the star to seal. Once the details are complete, an additional two coats of clear acrylic varnish are applied. It's great for both indoor and sheltered outdoor decor.
