We can all be 'consumed' by any one or more of the seven deadly sins. I painted and entitled this watercolor "Consumed" almost a year ago...she is consumed by envy - envious of the person who is with the love of her life...his heart she will never have. He is symbolized by the palm tree.......he is embedded in her soul - she 'sees' him everywhere....she is consumed.
