This is an ORIGINAL Drawing(not a print), signed and dated. My Raven/Crow Drawings Series in Black. PLEASE NOTE THAT IS NOT AN ACEO. IT'S 4.0" X 6.0" MY RAVEN AROUND THE WORLD IS FLYING CLOSE TO THE PARICUTIN VOLCANO, IN MEXICO. ADDED GOLD INK, AND GOLD GLITTER TO THE VOLCANO FLAMES, SILVER INK TO THE RAVEN, AND SOME GLITTTER TO THE SKY. Parícutin (or Volcán de Parícutin, commonly also accented Paricutín or spelled unaccented as Paricutin) is a volcano in the Mexican state of Michoacán, close to a lava-covered village of the same name. It appears on many versions of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World list. It began as a fissure in a cornfield owned by Tarascan farmer Dionisio Pulido on February 20, 1943. Pulido, his wife, and son, all witnessed the initial eruption of ash and stones first-hand as they plowed the field. Much of the volcano's growth occurred during its first year, while it was still in the explosive pyroclastic phase. Nearby villages Paricutín (after which the volcano was named) and San Juan Parangaricutiro were both buried in lava and ash; the residents relocated to vacant land nearby. No one died from the Parícutin volcano. I always look for details in my drawings, or paintings. The photo shown does not show exactly the real colors of an artwork. Colors may vary slightly due to the photographic process, and individual monitors. The colors you see on your monitor may not accurately reflect the actual colors. Each drawing is sprayed with Fixatif, to prevent smudging and wrinkling. Used Artagain/Strathmore 60lbs. paper with Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils.
