This is a museum replica of a Pharaoh's Ring. 14kt gold size 9 1/2. with a 19 x 16mm labradorite. The stone was carved out on the sides so that the gold could be inlaid around it to hold it in place. Wired used in jewelry (wirewrap etc) is said to have originated with the Egyptians. It is currently up for auction on Yahoo starting at 19.99
