Copper choker/necklace. This was a fun piece to make and in honor of a good cause. Hammered/torched copper wire with glass bead and a copper "Pink Ribbon" dangling in a full circle. It's takes some practice to melt the little balls (beads) on the end and you have to torch it just right to get the pink coloring, but I love that pink when I can get it.
I have a "Little Sissy" and a "Middle Sissy" and I am "Big Sissy" because I am the oldest. My Middle Sissy has breast cancer and has had to have a double mastectomy. She has so many allergies, and things she is sensitive to, that they can't use a lot of the usual treatments. She is hanging in there at the moment.
In this day and age it's amazing how many things are thought to cause cancer. It's all so confusing, what they say is hazardous to your health one day, is beneficial the next. I'm glad chocolate is good for us right now though!
