"The body is one of the most recognizable objects known to man. It is with this premise that I began to delve into the world of what is unknown and unique within us. I would like to think of my images as windows into another world where light is used to entirely reconstruct the body. Relying heavily on the illusion that black and white offers, I have created an alternate realm where arms are often absent, backs are deformed and faces are distorted. Even though this idea might seem disturbing, the images that resulted have a deeply sensual and mysterious appeal.
