This was an installation in a gallery in Colville, WA, called: "Circle of Life". The show was held around Mother's day that year, 2003. I asked gallery goers to send a message to their moms, a little card was printed up that said: "Mom is ..." and they finished the sentence and stuck in the old logs salvaged from an old dock in the Columbia River.
