I am a big fan of the odd and creepy- something that clowns are, in my mind.

This is a single color monotype. The first step in creating him was to draw his image on a copper plate. I then inked the plate with black ink, and wiped away the ink to get the image and shading that I wanted. The final step in the process was to run it through a printing press.
