A Woodcut is a Relief Printmaking technique where the image is carved from the block. The block then has ink applied which transfers across to the elevated (non carved) portions. It can be prepared in stages to allow different layers of colour, or colour can be added later. Different depths of carving can also add a beautifully textured, granular effect. Every print is original which is what makes this process so exciting and inventive. Includes Certificate of Authenticity with Edition Number, Date and Signature.
