This is a new dragonfly ball for this year. It is a tea light holder. It can be hung or sit on a flat surface. Each ball comes with it's own gift box, certificate of authenticity and decorative tag. The balls are large (5.25") and give off a lovely color and shadow from the painted dragonflies. Please note the picture with candle lit to see the shadows. The dragonflies dance as the candle light flickers. This ball is turquoise and iridescent light green dragonflies. I have tested the balls with a tea light...the glass DOES get very hot as would any candle holder. The paint is enamel, it is designed for this type of ball. The glass is fragile please handle with care. This ball can be cleaned with a damp cloth. No scrubbing or harsh cleaners, you can risk scratching the glass, breaking the ball or even removing the paint.
