The glass panel is my hommage to a Mary Englebreit design I call "Mary's Roses". The clear side panels are done in clear, rippled, handblown BLENKO glass. The center of the panel is gorgeous opalescent pastel roses and leaves with opal nugget centers. Opaque black and white checkered strips down the sides. The window is made with the copper foil (Tiffany) method, with lead solder, and plated over again with copper.
The solid as a rock oak frame was made by a professional cabinetmaker, with beveled edges and screw eyes installed up top for hanging. Frame is ready to accept hinge hardware if you'd like to use this as a cabinet door.
A gorgeous piece to hang in a window, or backlit against a wall.
Certificate of Authenticity signed, dated, and numbered. The glass itself is signed and dated.
Ideally, this could find a cabinet this size in need of a new front. Or, a cabinet could be built. Or, the door could be used alone, hung in a window. Or installed in a window. Lots of possibilities here
The panel measures 30" X 17 3/4", the door alone measures 27" X 14 1/2", the glass itself measures 24 1/2" X 11 3/4".
