This portrait is influenced by the Art Nouveau master, Alphonse Mucha. It is constructed in the traditional lead came method; virtually the same as used by artisans of the middle ages. Each piece of art glass is selected for color, quality and texture, then hand cut, ground, leaded, soldered, cemented and lovingly finished, resulting in a one of a kind work of art that will grace a home for generations.
Facial details are hand painted on both sides of the glass and fired prior to the leading process.
