Havarti Cheese Tray 1069©"

Media:  recycled wine bottle
Dimensions:  11.5" x 4.75"
Date of Work:  20009

"Havarti Cheese Tray 1069©" is appoximately 11.5" x 4.75". The artist likes this cheese and used the original label from her purchase. If you like wine and cheese then this one may well be for you. The artist has used a green recycled beer bottle that is fused at 1465° F for about 9 hours from start to finish. She then uses a trade secret method to reattach the original label and create a finish that is glass hard without burning up the lable. The total time from start to finish with all the stages of creating this piece of functional art is about 6 days. This is part of award winning American artist Arlene Wright-Correll's "Green Planet Series Recycled Fused Glass" series whereby the artist takes any glass object or broken glass and creates a piece of functional art out of it or with it. Now you can use it to serve cheese or since this bottle is lumped it will double as a dip server, olives and pickles or whatever. This piece, after use should be hand washed in order to preserve its finish. Using normal cheese cutting implements this glass cheese tray will last a long time. This is part of award winning American artist Arlene Wright-Correll's "Green Planet Series Recycled Fused Glass" series whereby the artist takes any glass object or broken glass and creates a piece of functional art out of it or with it. It makes a wonderful piece of functional art and a great gift item. It is signed by the artist, dated and numbered and comes with an artist signed EBSQ Certificate of Authenticity and an artist bio. It also can be hung on the wall or on a rack hook when not in use and it becomes a decorative art piece. Buy this "one of a kind" piece of recycled fine art today and help to keep our planet green!
