I enjoyed making this profile pendant. Before I brought in the detailed outline, she reminded me of Barbara Streisand. My husband thought she looked like Bette Midler. She also looks like a roman goddess. Whoever she is, she's getting a little long in the tooth, and broad in the beam, but still has a lot to offer! This is a one-of-a kind, hand painted, fused glass pendant. The design is painted directly on to the glass with powdered glass enamels and then kiln fired several times, permanently fusing the enamels to the glass. It takes several firings over several days to achieve the desired results. This is not a decal and since it is one-of-a-kind, no two will ever come out looking the same. Each one is unique and individual. This measures aprox. 1.50 x 1.25 inches not including the sterling silver bail. I've signed and dated it on the back. This is not only a beautiful piece of jewelry to wear, but makes it a collectible piece of art as well.
