I have actually been working on this painting for over a year. I thought first that I would do just one large tulip, alone on the canvas. I looked at it for some time and decided it needed more. I added the bugs, and the words, and then I added more layers of paint, then I scraped them off. I have to say that I now absolutely LOVE this large canvas. It's unique, out of the norm. And it would look wonderful on your wall.
