I first painted the face and then added a snazzy red corset cut from a magazine ad. I put vintage black lace around edge of this. The birds are from a book on 19th century bird paintings. Words are from books and magazines. Multi-hued yarn as hair. This piece is done on primed board with a brass toothed hanger on back.
