Batty Barry is one of those ghoulish vampires who's just a tad on the odd side. Feeding on human blood is one thing but to put it plainly, he dresses funny and he's ALWAYS smiling and humming showtunes. He has piercing blue eyes (some call him Bedroom Eyes Barry), a headful of coiffed blond curls (perhaps not his 'natural' color - I hear he has a wonderful stylist), and very sharp vampire fangs. Batty Barry is one hungry vampire - he carries a small vial of blood in his cummerbund in case he needs a quick pick-me-up and has drops of blood on his left shoe from his last victim. Batty Barry is made of my own original design without the use of a commercial pattern. I used soft cotton fabric for his head, neck and hands. His head is composed of four fabric panels and his nose and chin are figural. His features are completely original and painted by hand. He is both machine stitched and hand stitched. Other than his cape, Batty Barry's outfit is sewn onto his body and made of vibrant Halloween Victorian style cotton fabrics. He sports two jaunty buttons on his shirt and black and white eyelash trim on his collar, shirt cuffs and pant cuffs. His suspenders are black rayon ric rac. His custom made removable cape is made of black satin, lined with the same red and black damask fabric I used for his cummerbund, and trimmed with black and white eyelash trim. Batty Barry is stuffed with soft polyfil. His face is my original design as well and hand painted using professional acrylics and archival ink. His black vampire shoes with drops of 'blood' are also hand painted. His pale blond colored hair is pure wool that's been needle felted into his head with a touch of glue at the hairline. Batty Barry's elbows and knees are tied for posing. I've attached a hanger to his back so you may hang him if you wish but he will also sit nicely in a doll chair or with some back support. Signed and dated on back. Barry is an impressive 27" tall.
