Marlo is a mysterious and very magickal witch with stunning curly ginger hair and big brown eyes. Marlo is made of my own original design without the use of a commercial pattern. I used soft cotton fabric for her head, neck and hands. She is both machine stitched and hand stitched. Her outfit is sewn onto her body and made of vibrant Halloween Victorian style fabrics in soft cotton fabrics. She also wears black vintage cluny lace on her top and neckline and black eyelash trim on her wrists and hat and skirt hem. A vintage button accents her neck and she wears a poofy crinoline in a bright red shimmer fabric with raw edges. Her hat is red felt and is completely hand sewn with primitive black stitching. It is removeable. On her hat, she has two tarot cards I made from images of an antique deck - they are fully sealed for protection and not removeable. Inserted into the vintage lace of her top, she has three more cards, also sealed - these are removeable. Marlo is stuffed with soft polyfil. Her face is hand painted using professional acrylics, permanent watercolor pencils and ink. Her red witchie shoes are also hand painted. Her ginger colored hair is pure wool that's been needle felted into her head with a touch of glue at the hairline. Her elbows and knees are tied for posing. I've attached a hanger to her back so you may hang her if you wish but she will also sit nicely in a doll chair or with some back support. Signed and dated on back. Not including her hat, Marlo is approximately 25" tall. Marlo is perfect for your Halloween decor and would love to come live with you! Her colors and etherial expression are much nicer in person. She is also wonderful year round company for those of us interested in the magick of the tarot. Marlo is a one of a kind art doll and was created for display only. Although made very sturdily, she's not intended as a child's toy. Please note, all my dolls are original and hand painted as I make them. I select fabrics as I sew them. There's really no pattern or preliminary sketch - this assures you that each doll is a one of a kind collectible not to be duplicated.
