There are good witches and bad witches and Lady Jenn is definitely one of the good ones. She may cast a spell or two here and there and has been known to pour a salt line between herself and the nosey neigbors but she would never bake children into gingerbread or turn a prince into a frog. Her favorite holiday is October 31st - to some, it's called Halloween - others call it November Eve or Samhain - and she would love to join you for your festivities.
Lady Jenn is a mysterious and very magickal witch with stunning dark brown curls and big green eyes.
Lady Jenn is made of my own original design without the use of a commercial pattern. I used soft cotton fabric for her head, neck and hands and have hand painted her face. She is both machine stitched and hand stitched.
Her outfit is sewn onto her body and made of vibrant Halloween Victorian style soft cotton fabrics. She also wears black and ivory vintage trim on her neckline, waist and wrists. On her chest she wears a Victorian antique black glass button with irridescent luster. Her outfit is done completely in shades of black and orange. Her beautiful full black skirt has silhouette images of children trick or treating in deep orange. It's trimmed with orange ric rac. Under her festive skirt she wears bright orange and white polka dot knickers trimmed with black velvet ric rac and a black organza poufy crinoline slip with raw edges. Her legs are cotton fabric in black and white pindot pattern. Her black satin cape is lined with the same black and white pindot fabric and trimmed with bright orange eyelash trim. Her cape is also removeable.
Lady Jenn's hat is burnt orange made of a wool felt blend and is completely hand sewn with primitive black stitching. It has orange ric rac on the top of the brim and a black netting band. It is accented with an antique Victorian glass button in black and purple irridescent luster. Her hat is removeable.
Lady Jenn is stuffed with soft polyfil. Her face is hand painted using professional acrylics and permanent archival ink. Her black witchie shoes are also hand painted.
Her deep brown colored hair is hand dyed wool mohair that's been needle felted into her head with a touch of glue at the hairline.
Her elbows and knees are tied for posing. I've attached a hanger to her back so you may hang her if you wish but she will also sit nicely in a doll chair or with some back support. Signed and dated on back. Not including her hat, Lady Jenn is approximately 26" tall.
Made for display only, not intended to be a child's toy.
