I have a friend named Kelly, who looks a lot like this Kelly. She looks very 'college girl' but actually travels to many exotic places and owns a motorcycle. It was hard to do this portrait without thinking of the Kelly that I do know. I used bright Chinese red and gold fabrics on a gold and black background. I also did a few digital collages to get inspired for this piece.
