" Water Drops" is the second of two Alice in Wonderland Hand Painted Canvas Prints,Limited to only 25 of each painting. The other is "Tea is the Party." In this one she is the small Alice as she approaches the Caterpillar. The scene is a Smokey misty environment and Alice follows the lights that line the path to the Hookah smoking Caterpillar. I wanted to show the small size of Alice so the water drops in the foreground is an example of that. There are lots of details in this picture. From the dewdrops in the background dripping off of the red Toadstools, to the beautiful water splashing everywhere. There are even reflections of Alice and the background in the water. The Hookah also is neat with the translucent glass and purple liquid bubbling up. Alice also looks cute as the water runs down her arm. She grabs a leaf to shelter some of the water run off, but she still gets wet. This is also the second picture with this style of Alice. There are lots of little details in this picture, almost where you get lost in it. The colors in real life are much more vibrant and beautiful in real light. . Try experimenting with the light because different amounts of light cast different moods in the picture. The water looks fantastic in this 8 X 10 Hand Painted canvas print, as it's splashing everywhere, and It's translucent and shiny. As the artist, I can barly tell the difference between the actual painting and these Canvas Prints. It's the next best thing to owning the real Painting. It is a beautiful piece that has deep rich color, and lighting. It looks beautiful in real life the colors are amazing. They are numbered 1- 25, Limited Edition.
