This is a semi abstract face, painted with natural pigments of lemon ochre, red earth and lapis. I stroked on the lemon and red earth, and this face emerged. I kept the white area as it looked like a wimple or hood. The exercise was to do a Cubist face, and I was pleased with the outcome.
