What are they? Bookmarks or "altered" tag art or feature pieces to add to your own scrapbooking pages, collage, bag books, altered art or other craft projects. You decide! They are from my "Table Top Challenge" series of collage art pieces created entirely from stuff that is within arm's reach on my work table, forcing me to use up materials I have at hand before acquiring more. Quite the challenge, indeed! This ONE OF A KIND, ORIGINAL set of two "altered" shipping tags was created using recycled papers, gorgeous vintage images of kissing couples, stamped images, inks, assorted embellishments and funky fibers. Each tag measures approx. 2" X 4" and is signed and dated on the back. The effect I am going for with these pieces is fun and funky. I refer to my work as "primitive" because my techniques and use of recycled materials often results in the finished product looking a bit rough or unrefined, which I think just adds to the interest and character of the individual piece. Would make great accent pieces for your own altered art book, journal or scrapbook pages or a wonderful gift for that special someone!
