You can just feel the love between these two. I don't know the details of their story; but I'd like to believe that it was "Love at first sIght" and "Happily ever after." for them.

While they're beautiful here in their youth, I can also easily imagine them hand in hand, sharing a look that they reserve only for each other as their grandchildren dance around them. True love really does transend time and circumstance.

The base of this piece is aged wallpaper that's been photo transferred, stamped with a hand-carved stamp, inked, layered with vintage paper, ephemera, and a photo of this wonderful couple. Three aged vintage buttons finish the look. For greater stability, the entire piece was mounted on 140 lb watercolor paper.
