Made for the EBSQ Clay Show this is another SLAB constructed vase. I love to create things that are curvey and colorful. This vase ended up having a life and a character of its own. It continued to change as I worked with it and shape it. It reminds me of the strange worlds that Tim Burton creates in his movies with a dash of Dr. Suess.

I used matte underglazes to get the more vivid colors.
