Based on Mr. Bird's mantra in "The Best Nest" by PD Eastman (1909-1986).
Eastman, a regular collaborator with Theodor Geissel (Dr Seuss), deftly addresses
ideas of the perfect home, and ideas of what we think we want, and what we need.
Mr Bird, our protagonist, keeps building nests in innapropriate places, trying
to find the perfect place to nest. I found this quest timely as I am personally
struggling with the conflicting desires to move versus nesting and making the
best of urban living in a newly loud apartment building.
"I love my house, I love my nest, in all the world, my nest is best!"
