This is one of series of sketches I did during my recent tenure back at school to improve my freehand drawing skills. As a professional artist, shortcuts and deadlines have a tendency to put my drawing skills on the back burner in order to produce an oil painting for a client. So I returned to college to go back to the fundamentals.
I've used vine, hard and white charcoal in this drawing. I've used brown craft paper and there is a crease in the middle of it which should not be too noticable once the piece is mounted.
This is an original, not a print. It will be shipped in a tube and is quite large. "Nude #2" has been finished in fixative and I highly recommend matting and framing behind glass - it will smudge!
There is no reserve on this piece and high bidder wins. So bid early and often!
Thanks for looking.
