Gertrude was under the misimpression that surrounding herself with vertical stripes, rather than wearing them, will make her look thinner! I went with a compotistion that operates almost completely from vertical lines or "stripes", except for pleasingly plump Gertrude, who looks quite satisfied with her decorating/camoflaging job!
