I hand cut this 22mm wide x 27mm tall x 5mm high natural pink mother of pearl cameo skull
The ring's weight is 11.5 grams .
The insperation for the ring was the poem by Edna StVincent Millay "Moriturus" published in 1928 in the book "The buck in the Snow" by Harpers press.
The poem begins with;
If I could have
Two things in one:
The peace of grave,
And the light of sun.
