Not cuddly . . . not cute! This painting is a reminder that wild cats are just that . . . wild . . . and should be allowed that wildness. I laid in very loose strokes of oil with my fingers to get the movement in this painting, then progressed to bristle brushes to lay in and rags, etc to lift out . . . working very swiftly to keep the energy of this cat alive. This bold painting is for the wildlife lover who appreciates the bobcat for who he is!
