An incredible beauty! Neptune's Daughter sits upon her throne deep on the ocean floor with a contemplative look of melancholy. Below is an exerpt describing the series:

"The body is one of the most recognizable objects known to man. It is with this premise that I began to delve into the world of what is unknown and unique within us. I would like to think of my images as windows into another world where light is used to entirely reconstruct the body. Relying heavily on the illusion that black and white offers, I have created an alternate realm where arms are often absent, backs are deformed and faces are distorted. Even though this idea might seem disturbing, the images that resulted have a deeply sensual and mysterious appeal. The lure of this unexpected world challenges the viewer's perceptions as well as their intense need to identify. The realm of abstraction which awaits is sometimes much more appealing than any reality. Like a Rorschach test, any way the photographs are turned, new images emerge out of the darkness, confusing the scene and further obscuring what is solid and definable. Here, mermaid-like women swim past, veiled figures shy away, and reptilian bodies are exposed in carnivalesque settings. This world of shadows and darkness is anything but scary as most of these figures take on an alluring and solemn beauty uniquely their own." ~ Toni Chiapelli

*Important notation: The image presented here is slightly cropped. The original is even more spectacular.

This is a limited edition photograph from a very popular series. Interested buyers contact the artist at chatnoir16@email.com. Thank you.
