Shakin' at Sunset

This is my abstract portrayal of a plain and simple Shaker family mesmerized by the vibrant reds and yellows of a spectacular sunset at the end of a long day of hard honest work and worship.

They are fully aware that the simple things in life are what make it worth living... a simple sunset at the end of a day is a beautiful gift for us to treasure and marvel over.

Some of the colors I used here are: cadmium yellow, and cadmium red, and also indanthrone blue for the figures.

NOTE: This piece was recently exhibited in an art gallery, in NYC.
