"AN EVENING WITH MILES" is a painting tribute to the jazz great Miles Davis. The upper left hand corner is a tribute to the infamous 'Sketches in Spain' cover, the middle section represents a poppy field, and the far right corner is an abstract chalk and acrylic tribute to Don Keyote. The African American tradition is given tibute on the bottom half of the painting and the often sporadic nature of Miles' music is captured by the action painting on the left bottom. The images and colors invoke a study of the man and his music.
