** From my PAINTING A DAY for 30 days annual ORIGINAL art promotion ** Painting Day 8 - Nov. 17, 2009: These are my zinnias as I imagine looking over them next Spring - a flurry of color, texture, and sunny warmth. They hide in a corner of the garden, just for me. The canvas is 1 1/2 in. thick and was prepared with layers of a colorful mix of yellows magentas and greens before having my red-orange-yellow zinnias jump onto the top of the canvas.
