I used shades of reds and bronze acrylic to create this piece, somewhat dark I suppose. I did this on a wood frame and wood panel which I carved out to create an effect of depth, I also left it a little rough around the edges and didn't entirely fill the screw holes which gives it a nice look as well. This will surely draw attention in your home, double coated with gloss varnish to protect it for years to come.
