How do I add art to my Personal Gallery / Portfolio?

Using your Art Case:

  • First, access your Art Case. Your Art Case can be found in the left-hand menu of your profile ('Art Case/Portfolio').
  • You should see a new screen. This screen contains the Art Case search tool.
  • Enter appropriate search criteria and click the 'Search' button.
  • After you find the item you wish to add to a Personal Gallery, locate the 'Command' column.
  • Where the Command Column and the row with your item meet should be a 'drop down' list from which you can select 'Edit Item'.
  • After selecting 'Edit Item', click the 'Go' button that appears to the right of the command list.
  • You will be presented with the edit screen for Art Case items (same as the 'Add' screen).
  • In the section 'Gallery Placement' is a subsection called 'Personal Galleries'.
  • In Personal galleries, either select one of you existing galleries, or use the 'Personal Gallery (new)' field to create a new gallery.

How can I arrange (order) my Art in my portfolio easier?

Using your Art Case. In editing items of your Art Case, you can choose the Personal Gallery in which they will appear and also in what order (using a number - lower numbers appear sooner). A couple of things to keep in mind when specifying the number used for the order in which the item will appear. First, the number DO NOT have to be sequential (i.e. 1, 2, 3,etc.) You should leave yourself some room between the numbers (i.e. 10, 20, 30, 40, etc.) so you can easily slip an item between two others (for example, changing an items order from 70 to 45 (causing it to appear between the items '40' and '50')). Now, to easily maintain your art and your personal galleries, we recommend you take advantage of the 'Gallery Quick Edit' tool that appears in your Art Case. First, access your Art Case. Your Art Case can be found in the left-hand menu of your profile ('Art Case/Portfolio').

How can I delete a Gallery?

Galleries only exist if there are items contained in them. In other words, if you remove everything from a personal Gallery, the gallery will 'disappear'. We recommend using the 'Gallery Quick Edit' feature of the Art Case to facilitate this. First, do a search using the Gallery you wish to 'delete' as your search criteria - and then move your art into other existing personal galleries.
