EBSQ Art FAQ - Member Tools - Image Hosting What is Image Hosting? Image hosting is two things:
- In broad terms it refers to the ability to access images from one website (I.e. EBSQ) from another (i.e. eBay).
- We provide a tool we call 'Image Hosting' for this very purpose. Though the Art Case provides the same functionality, the Art Case is only intended for images of original art whereas Image Hosting (the tool) is intended for art-related non-art images (i.e. your logo).
It is important to note that image hosting (the capability) is allowed from the Art Case. How do I add an image to Image Hosting?
- First, access your profile
- In the left-hand menu should be a link 'Image Hosting'. Click the link.
- You will be presented with a new screen that will list all (if any) of the images currently in image hosting.
- At the bottom of the page should be a button 'Add'. Click the 'Add' button
- You will be presented with a new screen
- In the 'Title/Key' area, you can type a short title or phrase that will help you identify the image later
- In the area 'Upload a Different File', look for the 'Browse' bottom to the right. Click the browse button.
- You will be prompted for the location (on your computer) of the image you will be adding to Image Hosting.
- After you select the image, click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page to begin uploading the file
How do I edit an image in Image Hosting?

- You will be presented with a new screen that will list all (if any) of the images currently in image hosting.
- locate the thumbnail of the image you wish to edit
- In the right-hand column of the row of the image you wish to edit should be a drop-down list of options
- Locate the 'Edit' option (it should already be selected)
- Click the 'Go' button that is to the right of the drop-down list.
- In the 'Title/Key' area, you can edit the short title or phrase that will help you identify the image later
- In the area 'Upload a Different File', look for the 'Browse' bottom to the right. Click the browse button.
- You will be prompted for the location (on your computer) of the image you will be adding to Image Hosting.
- After you select the image, click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the page to begin uploading the file
How do I delete an item from Image Hosting?
- First, access your profile
- In the left-hand menu should be a link 'Image Hosting'. Click the link.
- You will be presented with a new screen that will list all (if any) of the images currently in image hosting.
- locate the thumbnail of the image you wish to edit
- In the right-hand column of the row of the image you wish to delete should be a drop-down list of options
- Locate the 'Delete' option
- Click the 'Go' button that is to the right of the drop-down list.
- You will be prompted with a new page displaying a thumbnail of the image you are attempting to delete asking to confirm.
- Choose the 'Confirm Delete' button to continue deleting the image.
I have lots of images in Image Hosting that I would like to move to my Art Case. Can I do this? Yes.
- Access your profile
- In the left-hand menu should be link for Image Hosting. Click the link
- You will be presented with a new screen that will list all (if any) of the images currently in image hosting.
- locate the thumbnail of the image you wish to move.
- In the right-hand column of the row of the image you wish to edit should be a drop-down list of options.
- Locate the 'Move To Art Case' option in the drop-down list.
- Click the 'Go' button to the right of the drop-down list.
Note: This will not affect any links you might be using to display the image elsewhere on the internet (it is safe to move). |
